Any paticular angle? I think bilges are all the same on 382's. Dan did have to trim a little from the inner liner to get the inner rings to fit. It's finished so well you can't tell though.

more of rigging behind rear seat. pumps, vacuflush, and wiring etc. I had to trim a lot out of the inner liner for arneson install.

I am going to try to leave the flip up floor panels out. We are going to try to mount the vacuflush on the starbord side alongside the gunnel instead of in front of the motor. This will improve access to the sea strainers. If that does not fit I'm going to mount the strainers both on the port side for easy access. I have a factory photo showing the vacflush fits (barely) in front of the crank pulley. Laney removed the genset and mounted the vacflush in the gen compartment.

lose the gen. to much weight or I'm just jealous, nought sure. I found a space to put my tank in gunnel but hidden under seat. also found a cool place to hide 4 optimas.PM me with phone # and I can try to explain. jenks (wes)

One Motor In

It looks like these 700's actually set back 1" or more than the 525's. I was concerned that we would not have room for stuff in front. The trans slides into the transom assy..slick. The engines do not have to come out to get the trans out. The transmissions have a lip seal around the perimeter to seal against the transom housing. I guess if the bellows leak or are torn the boat does not sink right away.

Beer Cooler

Formula is sending me a "new and improved" bolt on beer cooler to clearance the blowers...we will see..........

Nice project and great workmanship. It looks like you've got some help, as opposed to flying solo. My wife was a huge help in the cleaning and painting stages, but can't really contribute to the rigging process.

One thing you might consider is to buy another battery tray from Formula and fit it to the starboard side. That's what I did, and it gave me a great shelf to mount to a pair of house batteries. I'll try to get a picture of it in the next day or two. That would be a good place for the Vflush unit - I have seen some 382's set up that way.
