Default 38 with 496's

What speed will a 38 run with that power? What do you guys think the price difference would be for a 95 419 and a 2001 38 fastek with 496 HO. Both compareable in shape. Options also are the same. Thanks in advance Mark

my guess is 65 with 496's. I'd guess the 2001 would be...10-15 k more than the 95, approximatly...

My $.02 is you would be very dissapointed with that engine package... way under powered for a Fastech.

Default 419 Sr 1

419 SR 1 with Triple 496 HO
71 MPH running 1:50 Bravo 1 X drives and 26 `lab finished
Bravo One Props
Add Imco Extension boxes with 3 `rise and a Raylar BCK 103 kit 79 MPH running 30 `lab finished Bravo One Props

The old 419 SR 1 had an X Dimension disigned for Mirage Props - The boat likes the boxes with the 3 `rise
With the Raylar kit the boat plans on any two of three engines without a problem

No info on the 419 from me but......the 2001 (probably the one in the clasifieds) should run mid/maybe upper 60's. The 382/500EFI boats only ran about 72-74 at their very best.

BTW: Here's a 382 for you to look over

I'm biased thou...it's mine!!!

And there are a few 382's with 500EFI's out here that run 75-77....I know mine does 75 on GPS ... and that's with 5 blade Maximus props which also have great cruise speed. But they had to be tweeked by BBlades to get that out of em. I've learned all 382's are a little different, some get a couple more mph than others with the same equipment and setup. Mine seems about average.
