292 awesome props

Finally made it up to the lake today. Over the winter, I had sent my props to BBlades, in Wisconsin, for repair. I boat in the chain o lakes in northern Illinios, very shallow. Anyone familiar with the chain knows that it isn't if you'll ding a prop but when! Thus, I really didn't want a labbed prop, just get the props fixed. When I got the props back they were beautiful. Also, they cupped the edges to get out of the hole and on plane faster. What an improvement over my new props from last year. Even my wife commented on how fast we were on plane. I don't have any scientific data, but I would have to say it took half the time to get on plane. I didn't get a top speed pass due to waiting for the old gas to run through before I openned it up, however I was at about half throttle and at 60 mph. The air temp was cool enough to make great hp. I'll see how it goes, but I was definitely impressed!

I saw you at the marina yesterday, you were done boating for the day, and putting the cover on. I was bored after doing some yard work, so I took it a ride over. Your boat looked good sitting in the water. I'm still waiting to take delivery of mine. I also sent my props out and had them polished and balanced, but am now interested in your results with the cupping. Good luck this year and hopefully I'll see you out there soon!!

Did BBlades recommend this change of the props because they know it works well on the 292 Fastech ?

[How much did it cost you?]
I think it was about $350 for the two props, plus shipping
