something is Askew for sure ....I am running 75(5250) with 28 B1's ...my motors are ~600hp ... I have 29&27 M+'s that I will be testing soon ....
66@5000 are Stock 365hp numbers ... you know for a fact that the Motors are 640hp? I did test with 26 B1s and performance was terrible ... Borrow some 28's and see if the motors will spin them ..... that will tell the HP story ....m

My '89 311 had 645 h.p./620 ft lb torque per side and turned a solid 80+ mph with 27p mirage props at 5400 rpm or 28p Bravos at 5250 rpm. Problem with the 27 Mirage was they would blow out when trying to plane off and needed to be feathered quite a bit.
Something in your set-up is wrong or the dyno is lying ...

I had the stock B1 drives with 1.5 gears. I remember now I was actually running the 29p Mirages, not 27's. Really had trouble wtih them blowing out on take-off. Think I actually turned the 28 Bravos at 5300. It's been over 5 years ago now ...

What props gave you that kind of speed?
