What is the expected speed with the following motors and drives associated with them packaged in a 382 Fastech?

Thanks.

I would think a lot would depend on the equipment on board. I have everything less a generater w/ 500EFI's and I only see 72.
My buddy has 525EFI's and he touches 80/82
600's I think will get you high 80's

2002, no boxes, XR drives, everything but genset.

Had 500EFI's and 8 PSI Prochargers......supposedly 830 hp. ran 95 GPS with me in flat water, reportedly hit 98 when new.

Now pushing 630 hp out of 540's and runs low 80's in flat water, heavy fuel, etc.

Thanks for the replies guys. I would love 700's but they are too new and therefore out of reach. I'm basically doing a little background research on the 382 with the engines I mentioned in the first post so I have baseline expected speed information. It seems most of the 382's have at least 500's. I have been in a 353 and while I like the boat I think the extra room in the 382 is worth the cost of a few mph.

Thanks again for the information.

525's and I also have the extension boxes. I'm happy to give up the speed for the creature comforts of the 382.

Same here, only wish I had the genset. Definetly on the next one.

Next question.

What is the length of the 382 on a trailer? I'm guessing 45 feet and height less than 10 feet.

Thanks guys.
