Price is going to be 30K,probrably worth more, but he needs to move it. I think anyone that actually sees the boat will agree it is very nice.BTW,I am not making a penny, just trying to help a close friend.

I loved my 311, but it needed to go. Granted mine was a bit of a different animal, having TRS and supercharged 420's (some may like that, some might be scared), but mine sat last summer when listed at 32,500 then 30,000, then 27,500, ended up taking far less. Had a newer awesome eagle triple axle trailer too. Wasn't perfect, but wasn't bad either. The other thing is that they are 20 yrs old now and harder to insure. Seems for many companies 20 yrs is their cutoff -not that you can't get it but depending where you live and boat it can be a challenge.
I agree with the comments above, but the market is very soft for these boats now, especially with $5 gallon gas on the water. There are A LOT of choices out there, so if you want top dollar the boat better be a show piece and have the right buyer come along, which are few and far between in this market.

I agree about the right buyer coming along. Older 311 buyers are looking specifically for a 311,nothing else will do. To most,it's just another 20year old twin engine boat and there are plenty of other brands for way less.. A 311 buyer believes the 311 is the best boat Formula ever built and in many ways I agree. Someone will get a great boat at a good price on this particular boat, and it only takes one.Feel free to call anytime at 205-221-3072. I know the boat very well and will give you every detail truthfully. Robert

These older boats we have are very hard to put a dollar figure too. I personally would not let mine go for less than $35k, but i am not trying to sell either. They are very nice boats and with proper care and maintenance they can probably last their owners a lifetime. You just can't say that about any boat. What would a 311 owner replace one with, another 311???

If a buyer were to stick with Formula, they'd have to get a 353. Several friends of mine have 353s and they are nice - period.
But, its gonna take at least 85k, more for a mint one. Granted, a long search may turn up a cheaper 353 that someone is just unloading, the point is, it will cost a minimum of twice as much to buy a 353.
And as Robert says, there are several other brands out there you could buy for less. If you're a Formula owner or lover, you're just not going to buy anything else. Ok, maybe a nice 35 Cig.
