Default Formula high performance goals

Hi

Anyone read the article with the Formula designer John Adams, in the last Powerboat Magazine?

Well I have, and his answers about what planes Formula has
for developing high performance boats in the near future, was brutal, none what so ever. They are going to put all the effords in Sun Sport, bow raiders and Cruisng boats.

I think it is sad to hear that, they have made so many
nice high performance boats for many years.

Now is the 271 gone, what will be the next????

Reagrads from a Formula fan, and owner in Norway

When you look at the HP models that they are still producing, the positive reviews that those models are getting, and the generally soft sales of performance boats, there's not much reason to spend money in that area. I didn't get the impression that Formula was going to abandon HP boats, just that they saw better growth opportunities in their other product lines.

I agree, I don't think that they are going to not make Fas-Techs in the future, just that they are not going after 100+ MPH goals like other brands are, they want to keep it simple and affordable to be able to sell boats, remember, the faster they go the more they cost, not alot of people are buying 500+ thousand dollar boats, if they are they are buying Cig, Nor-Techs, Skaters...
