So how does 292 handle the rough? I see a couple of the F1 single engines around and I like them. Just never seen one run. What's to be expected from the ride?

Very well! The F1 single big block won the national championship, so that says something about the hull design. The 292's available to the general public are only available with twin small blocks. Mine has twin 6.2's. It is a bit tail heavy, but the upgrade to K-Planes helped a lot. It has a 24° deadrise V, twin steps, and is heavy (7500 lbs dry). This is a great combination for rough water handling and speed. The most HP you can get stock is 640 (twin 320). The hull can probably handle twice that!

I know this is an old thread...but what filler cushion are you referring to? Is there something for the floor between the couches? That would be great!?!?
