Looking good Johnny!

Give me a call when you have a chance. I spoke to the owner about your questions.

Doesn't that boat have a grid system for the stringers? After an impact like that it could of popped it off the hull.

The damage was more or less a side swipe.Probably both boat and trailer truck where traveling in the same direction and bumped.Really just knocking a hole in the side. The boat never took a head to head inpact.Grid system is solid and in place

As Johni-o said, looks like a sideswipe. Plus, the thermo-nuclear adheasive used to stick the grid to the hull will never come loose. If the gird system popped, the rest of that boat would have popped first. It's like the deck-to-hull joint, you couldn't get that apart without destroying the fiberglass.

Having said that, still looks like a pretty ambitious job there Johni-o. Hope it comes out nicely.
