If you've got switchable exhaust...will officials board you and measure the noise level with the diverter 'closed' (no thru-hub)?

I removed my S/T box altogether so I'm loud on-plane, but when I run around the docks thru-hub my twin 6.2's are very quiet.

ttt = wondering if anyone who has switchable exhaust has been tested and if they made you run thru-hull or measured at idle thru-hub

RHSJ: Some states it is illegal to have the switchable even if it passes with it open. I never understood that one. They will test you with them open.

Thanks, Audiofn

Luckily I haven't heard of anyone being tested in SF Bay, but then again, only a very small % of the boats here are go-fast. Majority of the boats are wind-powered.

I still hit the 'stealh' switch when I see any LEO's in the vicinity, though, b/c without the Silent Thunder box...Let's just say I can't sneak up on anyone
