Default Gas Fume Detector....

I have a 07 292, and just had to replace the Gas Fume detector which is located near the throttles. I was told this is NOT covered under my 5 year FormulaGuard?????? Anyone had to replace theirs.......if so, was it covered????

Thanks!

2007 boats are covered thru Seasafe.a good warranty deal, better than the old Passport, but still a few exclusions. Look at your warranty manual,if it is not listed,it is not covered. That accessary is not listed,so it is not covered. But on a better note, you will feel better when your stereo,or head,or outdrive ,or many other components are replaced for $25 deductable.Sure there are a few exclusions, but overall.it is hard to beat. I just replaced a $1600 fridge in a 370SS,cost the owner $25. Just one more reason to buy a Formula.
