Default Ignition Shorting Out FYI

Just FYI,

Went to start the Starboard engine this weekend and no go. 20amp ign fuse blown. Re set it and as soon as I turn the ignition key, it would blow again. After tearing everything apart and test light this is what I found.

Ignition switch slightly loose and would turn slightly when turning the key into start position. The Positive post on the back of switch would come into contact with a bolt on the steering column under the dash. I would assume all the 357's and maybe others built the same way. Easy fix. Tighten ignition switch and bend Positive post away from bolt.

Couple hrs of work 2min fix.
