You might be able to solve the problem with your speaker sound balance by changing your deck, but the only way you'll be happy with the over-all sound quality of the stereo system (especially when the boat is underway) is by upgrading the amplifier and adding at least a couple of component speakers to the mix.

I remember looking at the kenwood system when I first got my boat and thinking that it looked like a quality system... but the day after my first ride on it, I was on ebay buying a new 4 channel kicker marine amp and component speakers.

Nort is right... the kenwood is a POS! Save yourself the aggravation and scrap it now before you waste anymore time trying to make it sound better... It never will! :cuqui:

Guys, I disconnected the noise suppressors and plug the RCA cable directly into the stereo and now everything is working fine.
According to the technician that help me out, he stated that those noise suppressors are low quality and that I really don't need it.

Thanks for your input. Now I have a good sound all around, cabin and cockpit. :drink:

PS. Formula support was great, nice to have someone at the other end of the line answering my headaches.....................
Can't say the same with my previous Baja.............
