I have an '05 Formula 35 Fastec with Bravo XR's hooked up to a pair of 525's. I'm having a drive problem that I believe is going to get a bit expensive to fix. My question is, since the drives are out of warranty, has anyone had any luck going back to Mercruiser to get any help with a parts discount since the drives are not that far out of warranty?

I'm sure they'll sell you the parts you need.......at full retail through a Merc retailer. (bastards!)

What date did you buy the boat?It may be still covered under the formula guard 5 year warranty.
