Default how is your windshield frame?

Mine is silver, maybe a little "grimy" (yes I've cleaned often!)

Anyone ever dis-assemble & re-paint? Or paint on boat?

Just wondering for a winter project.

it's that damn vinyl-backed sunbrella that discolors it-trapping moisture, and wear also
mine was like that new from moisture

Mine's showing 11 years of wear on the top pieces, where they've been dinged by the bimini top hardware on a couple of occasions. If I can find a powder coat to match, I may just do the upper parts. God to hear that it sounds like a simple job.

That's one thing that I've often wondered about replacing or re-painting/ powder coating. I was going to price out a stainless frame from Formula, but the sticker shock might be a little more than I want to handle.

i'd like to hear more about the removal process!

There is black rubber strips either holding glass in place or acting as weather stripping. As well as 3/4" black square piece running around exterior. Would be ideal to replace all at same time.
