Yep, it is a Latham kit that threads right into the center of the Latham top plate steering mount. It has a really nice pick-up that you mount to the cavitation plate. I have hung out over the swim platform while on plane (during very calm conditions!) and it completely hoses down the top of the drive. Water sprays out all sides between the plate and top of the drive.

I am very happy with the Latham, but it's the only one I have experience with. Latham was very helpfull with quick turn around on threading my plates so the showers would fit with their hardware.

I am running the Rex Marine showers, with the dual pick ups. Costs a little more but gives you twice as much water dumping on the drive.

Has anyone done a comparison with a drive oil temperature gauge to see if a shower does actually lower oil temp?

If you look on Rex Marine's website, they have some good information, and interesting pictures of their drive showers.

Mine were only like 200 if I remember correctly. You could also have one of your friends hang off the back and use the transom shower.
