Default 311 cabin stringers

Does anyone have a drawing or diagram of the stringers from the bulkhead under the cabin door forward? Placement and size is kinda what Im looking for. Im trying to figure out if the carpet that runs up from the cabin floor to where the cushion are is glued to the stringer or just a panel. Cause its soft as hell! Ifs it is the stringer how big wide or thick are they?

probally from the infamous water leak that they all have, (including mine) where water pools up under the step area.

It is glued to the stringer. If they are anything like my 302 they are 3/4" Thick and go from bulkhead to bulkhead.

mine has the same exact problem...very annoying. i am determined to figure it out this spring. i think it has to do with water coming back into the cabin from the engine compartment when coming off plane. (tube under the cockpit, i am going to try plugging the tube and see if it solves the problem)

My tube is plugged with a rubber stopper, and has been since I got the boat. It has always been bone dry under the step, and forward.
