Anchor lockers on performance boats are useless unless the anchor holder is captive. Otherwise you stick a fluke or stem thru the hull side. My locker is used for rode only. Chain And Anchor Stay IN PASSENGER Side StoragE compartment

66 mph gps was best my 99 271 fastech does. stock 502

Same boat, same year, same power, 66 is my best so far. Might cold go faster with a little more chop and a little less fuel/onboard water.

yes 66 gps I have a drive shower. I heard those slow you down a little too.

Also have a drive shower. I read somewhere (cant recall where) that a 271 fastech with a blue 500 will touch 70 on a good day. I think it takes a lot more power to make these boats run impressive MPH. Its not the hull if you want to go real fast. It is the hull if you want a ton of ammenities in a single engine performance boat.

With a 525efi lots of fuel and gear 68-69mph with a 5 blade prop.
