Anchor lockers on performance boats are useless unless the anchor holder is captive. Otherwise you stick a fluke or stem thru the hull side. My locker is used for rode only. Chain And Anchor Stay IN PASSENGER Side StoragE compartment

Hi great numbers, is this Gps mph ?
If so I am looking forward to test my new 271 SR1 with 560 Hp (Dyno tested)
I also noticed that in an earlier reply it was logged 72 Gps mph in a 271 Fastec with. Merc 525
Based on this result, a standard 502 415 hp doing 66 seems fantastic :-)

Also have a drive shower. I read somewhere (cant recall where) that a 271 fastech with a blue 500 will touch 70 on a good day. I think it takes a lot more power to make these boats run impressive MPH. Its not the hull if you want to go real fast. It is the hull if you want a ton of ammenities in a single engine performance boat.
