Default My new '89 292 SR1!

Click on Photobucket link to view pics. Real happy with this boat! Near perfect condition (9 out of 10!) and performance is low 70's.

Thanks! New 500 HP heads, inconel valves, roller rockers, Comp cams, exhaust (can't remember what, have to check papers), new 850 Holleys, new fuel pumps, alternators, starters and batteries. Outdrives redone last year and Imroned. What else? For those of you who know the boat, maybe you can chime in. Oh, and a complete paper trail from day 1 including all receipts!!

As of right now...nothing! I sold my truck a few years back after I sold my last big boat. Don't think my Grand Cherokee would pull it, even with the Hemi.

I just picked up an 89 292 as well... What are you running for engines? Are they 420's? I've got 330's in mine and am able to get 63 out of it with a set of Hydro Quad IV 24 pitch props. I just recieved a set of 454 mags that I want to modifiy a bit to get me into the 70+ MPH range. Either way nice looking boat.

That is not treads' old boat. That boat got a complete interior job and now it has all white vinyl.
I think it is for sale though.

The motors are the 365 Mags/Bravo 1s but have been completely overhauled as you see in an earlier post. HP is supposed to be around 425 although I have no dyno reports. I'm running 25 Mirages and have been thinking about the Hydro IVs after reading some of your posts on here. I wish I could find some locally so I could try them out for a day! Anyone?
