Default Hatch Mirror Grommets

I have read through several threads on here about replacing the grommets for the mirros. Mine have pretty much desintegrated. I went to the hardware stores, Lowes, HD, etc. No one had anything close.

Anyone have 12? Or an online source for the right part?

thanks!

They are the same thing as often used under screws mounting an acrylic windscreen or windshield to the deck if that helps you source some...

otherwise, I have found a similar product in faucet washers believe it or not, in the past when I mirrored my 26 Velocity's hatch
there are a million shapes available and many with the "barrel" needed below the big dia.

Thanks Rippem... the plumbing lady kept asking me what kind of faucet I was working on as I looked through all the little bags of parts.

Couldn't find anything even close. Might try scott at formula.

I found this source online...

http://allstaterubber.thomasnet.com/...ge-plain-bore?

I'll have to measure them when I get home. They are "t" shaped right? Or were mine so deteriorated there was no rubber left between the mirror and the hatch?

Thanks

I was gonna mention McMaster-Carr...

had never looked for them there, but they have everything else!
and because they are in NJ, here in NY I usually get my order the next day standard ship which is nice.

Yep. Order by 5:00 PM, have them the next day by 10:30 AM. Returns are "no questions asked". I rebuilt most of my boat from the McMaster catalog a few years back.

FWIW, if you've got a good Formula dealer to work with, a lot of these small parts are reasonably priced from Formula. Might not be worth it for just these things when you find an alternate source. But when I ordered some switches for my 311, I tacked on some of these, plus the rubber feet for the swim ladder, plus the bumpers on the engine hatch. Less than $10 for all that. I tried McMaster and couldn't find the feet and bumpers exactly.
