Default 382 Tips

Just bought a new (to me) 382 with 700's and NXT drives. Just now getting used to how it drives. Still playing with drive/tab levels, etc. Any tips from 382 owners out there on proper drive/tab settings coming out of the hole, trim/tab levels for cruising and for top speed. Thanks for any advice.

Keep us posted on how she performs and handles with that set up when you get comfortable with her. If I get tired of my '97 that will be my next boat!

It will launch out of the hole easily with drives tucked and a little tab. No need to exceed 3500 rpm or the Vessel view will start screaming at you. Mid range I need neutral drives and a little tab to ride well. Over 80 tabs up and drives neutral. The boat is happy on the rear step and needs the least amount of help at that speed. Congrats! Have fun!

Fossil Fuel, thanks for the insight. What props are you running and what is your best top speed so far?

Congrats Godacious !!!!

That is without a doubt the package to have.

Was that the 382 "Spider graphic" at Shogren's? It didn't last long.

Like everyone else very curious what kinda of performance you get out of your awesome new ride!

Good Luck !!!

Yes, bought it from Shogren. I'll post some test drive results after the weekend.
