I wonder why they used that trunk? I bought one when I did my 700 repower. Looks like there is plenty of room with the standard 525 trunk.......

Apparently, it is for better access to the air cleaners/arrestors and ECU at the back of the engines. MadeItRain responded about this on an earlier post.
