Default Merry Christmas from Norway :-)

Merry Christmas to you all....

I found this film on youtube:

"Poker Run The Norwegian Way"

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NSZAYLRaq4s

No Formulas present :-( but some other nice boats are there, among a new Norwegian brand called Predator.
(It is 3 of them on this film, look for the blue, red and finaly the gold one)

Happy New Year from Oslo

Ps As you may notice this poker run is arranged, at the weekend of The Clase One Race in Arendal, Norway...

At about 20 min on the video there is a scoop of some type right behind the top of the prop. What does that do? Is it to vent the top side of the blades?

HI

I am not en expert in powerboat racing, but I think that this is a an intstalation ventilation of the props. The reason for this is to get the props to spinn and get on plane qiucker.

I am sure some one in here could give a more accurate explanation

Happy new year
