I only noticed a 150rpm decrease the day it happened. That could be attributed to anything and it was a hot humid day. Ran like a demon until the second it went. Could you have caught the problem? Cubic inches for me! The Ilmors would be the ticket!
Thats exactly what the little voice in my head is saying.

I would stick with reliability ESPECIALLY if you move out of it at some point in the next couple years. Sell your power or put it towards a set of 400hp 383's and call it a day. Will keep your market a little broader at sale time

I was all set to order two 383s last night, and told my self I had to look throught the Fountain classifieds first...........My new heads will be there Friday.

The longblock is fine so its being done right all new valves and springs to. Have had boat for 7 rears, bored with it don't want to spend 25k to turn a 45k boat into a 48k boat.

WHat 383's are you guys talking about? The stroker motors? The 383 Magnum MPI's? Something else?
So Tim, what did you mean about the Fountain classifieds? Are you simply putting the motors back to stock and then looking for a larger boat?

I'd be looking for a 353 with 500s or 525s. Not a fountain

Just pull the trigger on a 38 lightning and sell the 292. This is the dilema I am wrestling with is do I go past the 292 and go right for a 35 Lightning/Executioner

Unless there is something wrong with this boat, this looks like a good deal
