I'm going to remove the ST on my 2000 353 (500efi's) and I would like to know the diameter of the exhaust tips that come out of the transom so I can buy some flappers. Thanks, Bill

I've removed a couple and they all had short 4in tips.....only about an inch long so the flapper covers the entire tip.

the tips should already have internal flappers,,mine do..

Thanks guys for the info, I still want external flappers though, additional safeguard. -Bill
