Definately need more Fastech and SS representation. PC's outnumber the fastechs 3:1. Embarassing. I'm calling out all NorthEast, LS, SR1, SS, and Fastech owners. Whether its by land or by sea, you need to make your best effort to get to Barnegat Bay next summer. You will not be disappointed, trust me, you'll be happy you made it.

Anything bigger though, not only would I need a bigger truck, think it could be somewhat of a hassle to launch and retrieve every time. Got it down to a science now. Takes me longer to go get the truck then it does to put the boat on the trailer.

pulling the 303sr1 with a 2011 1500 chevy, 4:10 gears and programming, it works.

292 & 303 a pretty similar. 303 probably a little heavier. What kind of trailer? Brakes? Electric?Hydra?Electric over Hydra? That will make a big difference too.

Always look forward to meeting new Formula owners. Hope you guys can make the trek up. We'd really appreciate it. We got people from all over PA, Central/South/North Jersey, NY that have all attended in years past. I know I called out the whole Northeast, but really we welcome Formula owners from all over. IDCE extended an invite to a Formula owner to just fly in and hop aboard any boat with room attend the festivities. Always looking to expand and grow. We all really look forward to these events every summer.

Trailer is a galvanized bunk setup, 2- 8k axles with electric brake. truck is on 34" tires with 7inch lift. with the gears and new tune she pulls ok but its a hand full on the highway above 70mph. the boat pushes the truck around, the lift and tires dont help.... im def over loaded around 12k boat and trailer depending on gas and luggage. going to try weight distribution set up next to help out. and new brakes on the trailer over the winter.

New GMCs and Chevys 1/2 tons are beasts. Better (IMO) than the older 2500HDs. I got a standard 2011 GMC 1500 CC on 20" with the z60 suspension. 5.3L with 6 speed trans wth the external engine & trans cooler. Do wish I went for the 6.2L with the 3.73 rear instead of the 5.3L 3.42. The 3.73 wasn't an option with the 5.3L. I'm right around 9400-9600 tow capacity, which don't get me wrong still plenty. Never a lack of power hauling the boat. I had the truck built, so I had the luxary of picking what I wanted. Decided to save a couple pennies and went for the 5.3L instead. Just if I wanted to move up at all, I'll need another truck where I could have squeaked by with the 10400 capacity withe the 6.2L 3.73.

Truely, I only use the truck to haul the boat. It will be 3 years old in May and I just hit 20K mark. Thats mainly highway miles driving to and from home and the shore.
