Some have run this with PWC's and single engine craft. I don't feel that adventurous but definitely want to make this run.
Believe it or not at this moment all the irons I have in the fire makes getting the boat ready for the run this year a huge rush. I need the break already and it is still winter. Pizzer.

Aqua we are a year or two out. Making this trek from the NE not something you just do on the fly. Gotta set things up and have a back up plan in place you know. not gonna drive down there to just turn back and come home. It's bimini or somewhere in Florida.

382 - being our first time across we are more than likely going to play it safe and just hit bimini. 42-45 miles is enough for me. plus i'll be making the trip in muy 292 and my buddy in his 26PC. We're not the biggest boats out there, but if people make the trip on jet ski's then we should be able to as well.

we make the 35-40 mile trek down to Atlantic City annually but that's either all intercoastal or just offshore in the ocean. we're never losing sight of land. i feel this trip would so easy if you didn't have to be so GD dependent on the weather but really when are you not dependent on the weather for boating.

I am planning on doing the crossing to Bimini this summer, I am sure sprink58 will join me along with 3 other friends all with formulas except 1 with a baja 302 boss(Tom) . It would be great to plan it with a larger group and see who gets there first

This summer is a no go, but would definately be interested next summer. Need a year to accumlate extra parts and get the boat and trailer in the right order to make the long haul. Trying to limit the amount of unexpected surprises.

I am wanting to shoot for next year as well. I normally take a 2 week trip to the gulf, so I am going to try and shoot for this trip instead next year.

would love some company.

I've searched this forum for bimini threads. Read through just about everyone too. This trip always sparks a lot of interest. Definately would be interested in making the crossing with a group rather than a pair or even solo.

I am definitely planning to do it this summer but I am sure I will be wanting to go next year too, I have a group of at least 4 boats as I mentioned in an earlier post. It sound like lots of fun...
