As far as I'm concerned the buyers market thing is long past gone. Good used boats are hard to find, and a good deal on one is even harder. The days of picking up a nice 292 for $15,000 have been gone for a few years now. I've had three friends all sell their boats this spring. All were sold within two weeks and all got within $1000 of their asking price or better.
