Wondering if anyone out there has specs for a tie bar ( length, saddle width) to use on a 2007 330ss . 6.2 motors. If anyone knows the distance from drive centerline to drive centerline, that woud work fine as well. Any concerns with adding a tie bar to this boat? I had one on my 95 280ss and it did improve drive stability and reduces waggle. Appreciate thoughts and info.

I put one on my 330SS with 496s. I measured right on the transom from outdrive to outdrive and got my measurement. As long as you measure from an identical reference pint on one drive to its mate on the other, you'll get the true distance between them.
Then, just adjust the tie bar for that distance. No toe-in or toe-out, as long as you have either duo-prop drives or counter-rotating drives.
Like you in your 280 I found that it tightened up the steering feel.
I used Eddie Marine bars http://eddiemarine.com/index.php?rou...search=tie+bar and I also put on the Simrek drive showers http://www.driveshowers.com/index.html which seem to really rock.
And, it looks cool with all that shiny metal on the drives.
