The boat is pretty awesome. Things are coming together, but we are still working thru some issues.

I knew it had a few things that needed attention, but several other little gremlins have popped up, so the fun upgrades haven't been completed yet. I came to the realization last weekend that it took me 5-7 years to get my 353 "dialed in" and all of the upgrades done, but still managed to enjoy it for nearly 10 years. Need to be a realist with this one, that it won't be as perfect and move on. Thanks for asking! Here are a few shots from the town dock.

As far as performance, this thing is heavy, but goes pretty good! I took it for a blast the other day, and hit the performance numbers almost spot on. It cruises at 29mph at 3550 RPMS, and WOT it goes 39.7 mph at 4550 RPMS. Right by the book!

That sun reflecting off the water on the hull side looks so awesome. That is a beautiful shot in #2.

gone as is the boat isn't in the yard anywhere?

Stopped on way home from Watertown Friday afternoon and was not in the slip so I don't really know. Spent some time talking with Mark, before walking thru the boathouse, or I might have noticed. I can only hope it is gone for good. This year looks like August only for us, Samantha has a little operation late June that will put her off her feet for a while then hobbling at best for a while after that.

Going to take the time to freshen up the engines. I wonder how much they need it in that last weekend it was on the limiters @ 92 with the Bravos, it has bested that before but never with the stock 4 blades, best ever has always been 90 on them. Word is that at 250 to 300 hours the valve springs are about spent pressure wise, so at 300 I think better to be safe than sorry.

no hurry here. the weather is crap, wildly inconsistent. ready to go just gotta get down to set up.
few lingering small projects around the house. just got all the sleds properly tucked. have 2 wheelers that need work. the truck is minted. have had plates on the challenger for a month and still haven't driven it...
didn't want to be lonely or bored, gotta say I've got that covered!

just got off the couch to go to bed (worked the last couple overnights) and it's 46* w/ a 10+ MPH N/NE wind and steady rain
now, granted we need the rain desperately as it's been a very, very dry spring
but I just fired up a couple of the wall furnaces so the kids wouldn't freeze in the morning

reminds me of the "party in the potty" 4th of July weekend. which BTW isn't that far off!

you said that has HEAT and air right Dave?

Yes it does! And it works well! No more potty sitting, comfort of the cabin and the cockpit. Just open the door and let the heat make its way up. Pretty toasty this weekend, in the boat. Very COLD and miserable. You didn't miss anything yet!

So after replacing a few faucet sets, the A/C control board, wiring the underwater and speaker LEDs, rebuilding the ice maker, replacing both fuel fill hoses, adjusting the choke on the generator, running the appropriate cables for the sonar and Smart Craft, and cleaning everything, I was able to install the plotter this weekend and then actually go for a cruise!

What a pleasure to drive this PC is. Coming from the go-fast to this wasn't that hard of a transisition. It's still boating and we look forward to some nice long trips, in comfort! Here is the plotter install. Just need two more cables to complete the Smart Craft install, and all will be done. The rest of the factory canvas will be here in the next week or so, and we should have the deck loungers on next week. A buff and wax, and finally, time to enjoy!

Not to my standards, and I'm not sure where you got your info?

Drivetrain and interior are nearly new, other stuff is just, well stuff.

Were you not able to find a unit that would fit in just the left panel? Looks as if the one you installed may have fit... I wouldn't want to cut those 2 supports out myself.

Those supports are just for the panels. Formula uses 3/8" thick aluminum that is screen printed for the Burl wood and the glass layup is really thick on the dash. You can do jumping jacks on the upper side of the dash if you want. I wanted a large screen, so that's what I did.

The left panel is reserved for the auto-pilot and anything else I may need, but I think the MFD will do most everything.
