Love the 419, the extra 3' does help in the rough stuff, but they certainly aren't speed demons

If that... the 419 I was seriously considering ran about the same as your boat does with the same power. The cabin and cockpit are no larger than a 382, and the cabin is the "old" design.

But oh boy what a sun pad!!! I used to camp out for the weekend on mine! Also, there is nothing like starting three engines at the dock. I do agree with RT930 that the length and width of the cabin and cockpit are pretty close, not really noticeable. Mine was certainly a wave crusher, loved the ride of the boat, miss it also.

5'5" 419 vs 5'1" 382 cabin headroom. You gain 4 inches headroom at the entrance. However the length and width are pretty much identical, maybe an inch or three here and there. I tie up next to a 419 fastech every weekend, and the differences have been well observed

Sorry I have not gotten back to you on that info. Yes it was a direct hit. I got the HIN and started researching only to get bummed out on this boat. I love the Torch graphics but the boat seems built for speed and not amenities. It has extension boxes but nothing in the cabin and no gen. Minus the AC and gen is a deal killer for us here in the blistering hot south.
I also found an old auction from back in 6/03 when this boat sold as "wrecked". Not sure exactly what that meant but it sold at an auction less than two years after delivery. I would have qualified the "wrecked" circumstances if the boat was fully optioned to see if it was ok but sadly it is out.
Thanks for your help. I owe you one.
