should I up my prop pitch?
2002 formula 292 fastech with 350 mag mpis.
I have box stock 26 bravo 1 props
I recently added replacement stock aluminum exhaust manifolds and risers.
I did not do it for a hp gain only to loose some weight in the rear for better ballance.
I was slightly hitting the limiters before but now I am all in them. Full of fuel and my normal people load..wife kid and myself.
If I understand correctly these engines Limit out at 5150 or 5250. So if I go with box stock 28 pitch I should be around 4700 to 4750. This will put me right at or right below rated rpm.
So should I have an inch put in or go 28s?
is there much geometry difference between the 26 and 28 pitch.
ThanKS

Send your current props to BBlades, fill out their on line information sheet , and Brett will work the magic. From what your saying props just need to be dialed in.

assuming you have the same gear ratio that our 292 had...the 28's dont run well even with the 6.2L's. boat was really sluggish getting out of the hole and acceleration was poor. if i were you, i would stick with the 26's. just my opinion and experience.
