Thanks it is just a simple wrap and set of Livorsi gauges, but I like the way he did it, simple and not over the top with skulls and crap.
The more I explore this boat the more I like it, it has a ton of storage for a offshore boat. Just needs some wax

Well I have joined the Formula family in time to get a few runs in this summer. I went to Chicago Friday and purchased the '95 336 SR1 that was in the classifieds here. Chris was a fair guy to deal with and described the boat accurately and honestly so I fought traffic and picked her up.
Got up at 6am Saturday morning and power washed and scrubbed, was on the Saginaw River by 10am, met up with the guys doing the Saginaw Bay Fun Run at 11am, and was blasting my way out to Charity Island and Tawas and back to Bay City all weekend. Had a nice 2-3 ft chop on Saturday and 3-4' all the way home Sunday and the boat felt rock solid.
I love the sound and performance of the 450s, though she is way under propped. Have a set of Rev 4s on the way to test next week.

Congrats, nice boat. I saw that one in the classified too. I've got to agree, it looks like a great boat for 20 years old. Classy lines. That wrap on the dash certainly improves the look over the older black dashes. Big improvement! Good luck with it. My brother and I ran an older 242 with a 502 (I think it was a '91, not sure), and then a '99 353 w/twin 500 EFI's. Both were great rides, with super build quality. I'll be looking heavily at the Formula line for the next one.

336s are absolute wave crushers. always loved how they sat in the water. Marina next to mine has a 92 for sale I was looking at the other day, just out of curiosity. A little rough around the edges but just so big and solid.

Tried Some Rev 4 props last week and they handled great, both at the docks and at cruise. Gained about five mph over the old Mirages that were on before at 3300 rpm.
For giggles I am going to try a set of Mirage Plus props but I think my main prop set is going to be the Rev 4s
