I can't post pics, so shoot an email if you are interested.
I'm on boat for next couple days. So pics are easy.
That would be great. My email is [email protected]

Thanks so much.

Yeah, CarBiz. I dropped "off the grid" a while back.
Life has a way of getting in the way.
Still around.
Just low profile.

My 357 doesn't have AC. There is only a small bilge pump and float switch. The float switch is disconnected in this pic because it stopped working.

Thanks for the pic. Not sure if it's just the way the pic makes it look but the whole shape of the compartment looks different than mine. Its carpeted too, doesn't get wet?

The sides of the compartment are carpeted, the bottom is not. Yes I guess it could get wet and probably wouldn't be a bad idea to remove the bottom few inches of carpet. The compartment is rectangular in shape exactly like the step. The bottom is slightly concave to act like a sort of sump.

Odd...
I can't see BCK picture. It just shows as an attachment is available. 😏
But it doesn't open.

Heres one of the pictures that OPIE272 sent me. Now I just have to make mine look like his. (minus the shower pump of course)

You don't have another step behind this picture that has a place for a bilge pump?
If so, I'm wondering if the bilge pump has been moved to make access easier.
That second area I have for the forward cabin bilge pump is a bugger to get to.
