Default 382 front windcreen height measurement needed please!

Can anyone with access to a 2000+ model 382 Fastech please help me out.

I am looking for the vertical height of the top of the frame / front windscreen above the deck or door as per the photo.

If the windscreen finishes above the door - that measurement from the top of the door height is ok too - just let me know where you measured from, top of door, or top of deck.
It's hard to tell from the photos just how far back the windscreen comes.

Thank you in advance.

Mine is 12.5" above the door and 10.75" above the deck. That is to the top of the rail not the chrome union at the split.

You're welcome. Glad I could help. This site has helped me many times. I was wondering if you take your Bird out in the open water or do you just hang out on the Swan River?

To be honest I am just starting the build now so the boat has not been in the water since I bought it.
When operational 90% will be ocean usage as I will be moving from Perth to Mandurah ( south of Perth ~ 80 kms ) in the future.
So we will be running the 80 kms offshore each way between Mandurah, Garden Island / Rottness Island & the Swann river.

I purchased a 382 hull and deck from Trenton NJ - your part of the world in ~2012.
Since then I have been collecting parts as the budget allows with the boat all wrapped up in storage.
But I have ~95% of the required parts now so it's time to put it all together.

I got the Arneson's on last week.
That's a step in the right direction.
I was going to do a build thread but many have been done before.

The boat had no windscreen. No nothing actually.
I made a fiberglass version but I didn't like the final end product.
So now I am looking at having a windscreen made.
Hence my initial question on the height as I can make it any height I want.
But I think the originals are about as high as I would go.
I prefer looks to functionality.
So I'm thinking of going with a black frame, dark tint, and possibly a little lower than the original.
I'll see what the windscreen guys says.

Thanks for the pic of the Arneson's. I plan on having surface drives on my next boat. I wish you all the best with your project. Let us know how it turns out.
