You have a really nice setup. You're probably at the upper limit of those drives with a heavy boat too. Just maintain them and should be fine. Those trans are way overbuilt, they should last forever. I will dig up the phone number I had from the guy who worked on them. He could have shut down, but I believe he was the guy who bought Huber's book of business, and tools, etc.

Glad you added hyd steering, makes a big difference, it's a great upgrade, and safe too.

I'm sure you have a rocket, probably sounds good too. Happy for you, these projects are fun and suck at the same time! (I'm currently on the sidelines after about 15 hours on the water this season) Good luck!

I did "open up" the Silent Thunder boxes, definitely sounds better! Not obnoxious by any means!

I saw the pics and read about a 419 FASTech that a marine service got up to 110 running triple 700HP's. That is so tempting for me to do that too. I would stroke my 502's to 540's then boost them for the remaining power to keep a lower valve train and engine stress compared to na.

Here is a youtube video of the boat https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7h5AYylNU4Q

I thought it was figured out that that 419 is in Canada therefore the speedometer was in kilometers . No way it could excellerate that fast in mph. There is a 419 with triple 1000s on eBay and it says it does somewhere around 100 mph . Jeff Wurl

110 in Kilometers is 68mph and my 419 FASTech with triple 415HP does 70mph. This boat with factory 525SC does 84mph ish so it responds well to HP and triple 700's should do at least what twin 700's does in a 382. I don't doubt 110mph with 700's.
I can't find the ebay boat with triple 1000's. It should roll very well over the century mark but that would not be a good selling point considering insurance stipulations.

Boat in video, aren't those 502 Mags? Probably not 700hp. 2100hp to get that thing to 100mph? I guess it's possible, but that thing is pretty heavy, especially rigged with triples. 110mph with that setup, .........

Boat on eBay has triple 950s and it says it runs 90. It is a straight bottom 419 . Item # 142066817614. Nicest 419 I have ever seen. Jeff Wurl

If you look closer there are prochargers bolted to the right of the engines. I had to take a second look too!

I agree with Frick. The 382s with 700s do low 90s real world, one on Lake Erie right by us.Takes big power to get a 382 to 100mph let alone a 419 triple. Formula Fastech's hit a wall at low 90's and need a big push to get them over the 100MPH hump. Not a knock just my observation from owning one.
