Unless it's a 353, they move well over 100 pretty easy, 382 and 419 I am not even sure I seen one yet..

I agree with Frick. The 382s with 700s do low 90s real world, one on Lake Erie right by us.Takes big power to get a 382 to 100mph let alone a 419 triple. Formula Fastech's hit a wall at low 90's and need a big push to get them over the 100MPH hump. Not a knock just my observation from owning one.

Really! Last I knew it was not easy to get any 10,000 lb boat to run over 100 MPH. How many times have you personally achieved the big number? Let all of we lesser minded folks in on just how easy it was!

"Move over 100 pretty easy" My f'n azz! There isn't but one or two 353's that have run a real 100 on this planet. No offense here, just a fact. Call me a Fountain azz if you wish, just do your homework.

Here are the actual test results from Formula on my 2012 382 with the Ilmor 725's. I picked up a few more miles an hour after it was broken in. Hit 97 MPH in Newport Beach, sea level and salt water helped I think?

382 owners, 800 + or - a side to hit 100MPH? Arneson 382 less than 800 to hit 100MPH?

Full Force 08-10-2016 09:11 PM

I would say more, Scott is around 840 HP and saw 107 in a 353, that's a wild tune also, so I think 900 ish to see 100 in a 382, has to be, they are MUCH bigger then a 353.

Tim, maybe 382 owners that have hit the 100 mark will chime in. Good info on the 353 and Rain with his Ilmor 725s. Looking at the above facts as a benchmark, the triple 419 will need 3 Monster Mountain engines to hit 100mph, let alone 110mph as indicated previously by a poster was easy to get.

Full Force 08-10-2016 09:23 PM

for sure, I know Jeff wagner tossed nice HP at his 382 and got into 90's.. never saw 100

big boats!
