Fredis Trujillo. 1-305-556-1010

They took care of me. I had a few other All State agents turn me away. According to them, anything over 27' is a yacht. I kept calling around and these guys took care of me. His son actually was the one I deal with. Steve I think is his name but I'm not certain.

I just went through this, Palm Beach County though. Tried many places for 35' cig cafe, most of them stated if it's capable of over 45 mph they are not insuring now, some said no way if in Dade county as 1 out of 4 boats are stolen in Dade.

I have Geico insurance for 2 of my commercial vehicles, and ended up using them to get coverage at around $2400.00 for boat and trailer, stated value.

FOREMOST is a boat insurance company compared to some of these you mentioned that are home/auto companies. Boat insurance from a boat insurance company is more reasonable than what you have heard from the car companies. Try FOREMOST. They can insure anything boat and they didn't have a problem with my triples like most other non-boat companies did.

By marine and Coast Guard definition a Yacht starts at 40 feet. Anything 39 feet and less is not a Yacht. Very strange to me that a coastal state would talk such smack as a 27 foot Yacht.

When we had our 353 down in the Cape our insurance almost doubled from what it was at LOTO, but I had it insured for $60K with Progressive and the premium was $1,600 a year, I didn't have many choices though.

Yes, 27' being classified as a yacht to me, had me laugh...however, I love inviting friends out on the yacht. Foremost and Wakezone quoted me quite a bit higher than All State, that's all I'm saying on my end. I went with what worked best for me...which might not work best for others.

Try State Farm Insurance Company. They insured my 419 triple engine fastec (525SCs) at $90K value for $1,500.00 a hear in central florida, including inland and coastal boating (no Bahamas). I could get a rider per trip for the Bahamas. They did insure my house and cars though. They currently insure my $200K valued Fountain 38 Express Cruiser at $2,500.00/year.

State Farm told me no boats in FL. I used to have them for everything.

I had State Farm on our old 27' Fountain (stock 502MPI). After 2 months, they dropped me - as they "do not insure race boats". I almost pulled all of our policies from them - but my agent explained that it was not up to her, it came from corporate.
