The sellers son went by there today and sent a few pictures of the engine, outdrive, odd exhaust, and prop.

The interior and dash look very clean. I would clean the outside, the bilge, and tidy up the wiring. That would cost almost $0. I would look at it and try to strike a deal.

Thanks. With no hooks in my hull, the M-plus prop lifts too much of the boat out of the water. I hope the 4 blade keeps the boat wetter.

That is certainly the plan tom. I looked up those thumper risers, they come in about $1500, then the $3500 engine. I feel it will be a good one to get if I can get it around 10. The seller seems to be a very nice man, he wants me to wait until he is home in a 2 weeks to come get it that way he can take me for a ride on it rather than his son. He has taken very good care of it but is moving out west soon so liquidating some toys.

Tom how do you feel about this boat having a 19p 4blade? Does that seem a fuzz on the small side if it's an honest 425 hp ?

Usually the 4 blades are even numbers, but that one says 19 right on it. I used to run both 21p and 23p mirage props with 420hp. I liked the 23 for lower cruise rpms. I would say a 20 or 22 4 blade would work.

According to the numbers on it it's a 19. Do these bravo drives run the same spline as regular merc outboards ?

Alphas, bravos, and trs all run the same prop. I would assume the larger OBs as well.

Hmm. I have a 26, 28, and 30 chopper I could bogg it down with if that is the case.
