Those are meant for bass boats that run very high drive heights. I wouldn't run that on our types of boats.

Ten4. Thanks for the advice. Like I've said before. All my boating experience has been aluminum boats, under 20' bow riders, or drag boats. These whales are new ground for me lol

Found a local guy with a 27' fountain. He removed a 23p 4 blade but it is lh rotation. A little digging reveals that I can run a lh on a bravo with no issues simply reverse the shifter.

Have any of you guys ran a Lh prop on a 242? Any strange handling or negative impact from doing so?

If it's just a temporary test you can just put the shifter in reverse to go forward. Mohawk242 is running a left hand 23 mirage plus. It lists a bit to the starboard.

It would be temporary on the test runs. But if it works for me I could reverse the cable connection. I really like how mine handles now. It is very smooth with no noticed lists but. I plan to call formula tomorrow and ask Scott about this. Maybe I should reach out to Mohawk as well. Thanks for your help.

Any free prop is worth a try but that will probably be a stern lifter that works good on a stepped hull.

We will see. Not sure when I'll be able to run it but I'm going to go grab it tomorrow

I'd be interested to know how it holds the bow and what kind of speed you see. Do you have a top speed number with your current prop?

No I do not. I will before I run this 23 and then compare them.
