I am very happy with the prop that is on it as far as out the hole, and cruise. It does blow out a little on sharp turns(just trim down a little more). Just feel like I'm leaving a lot on the table.

Some baseline numbers would be good, I don't know what prop that 19 is.

I have run both LH and RH props and get a list either way. Im currently running a LH 23 mirage plus that performs well. I have never tried a 4 blade and I don't think the hull needs it.

Thanks for your input Mohawk.
I haven't dug much into what the 19 is.

I should have included that the 23 is running at 5300-5400 rpm. I tried a 25 mirage plus but it dropped to 4800 and lost about 4 mph on the top end. It planed off noticeably better but not worth it. I expected a better cruise but didn't notice a difference.

Mohawk, what are you running for hp?

If it planes quicker than now that's a plus. My only real desire is a littlw higher cruise an some more on the top.

I know its not ideal, I usually overprop one size higher than it should be. My rationale is the higher pitch requires a greater throttle opening to maintain the same rpm. So if i run a 23p or a 25p and cruise at 3500rpm with either prop, the 25p will do 2 things. The 25p will give me a faster cruise speed, and due to the throttle opening it will also run a touch richer. With my motor being supercharged, I like the motor running a touch richer. With the 25p it will not pull to the 5600rpm HP peak, I can only squeeze 5200 or so out of it.

This is true. I cant wait to see how this one does for me. Ive read on other forums where people are having a good bit of stern lift with the hydromotive. Only one real way to know for sure and thats to slap it on and run.

Did a little google searching to find what i currently have is a Mercury Revolution 14 5/8 x 19. Then i called and talked to bblades. The guy was very helpful and polite. I REALLY appreciate his help. He informed me that the hydromotive is a 15 1/2" diameter which will give quite a bit more stern lift than what i have now. He said it can always be cut down to a 15" to help with that if it has too much stern lift.

Why buy a used prop that is LH and needs to have work done to geometry to work. Just try it for info and buy the correct prop to start with.
