353 with pealing clear coat
#1
On my 353 there are a few places that the clear is pealing up. I am wondering what others have done to fix this if they have had the same problem. As I understand it they use Imron paint and then clear over it. When I flake back the clear it looks very shiny under the clear. Had anyone just wet sanded off the clear and buffed the stripes?

Unless some one convinces me not to try it I am going to give the wet sanding a try. My guess is that every year I am going to be chasing this but figure if that is the case it won't be so awful if I have to do a few spots a year. Eventually all the clear will be gone. I have a call into a few people and will have my brother take a look at it as well. He has worked in restoration shops all his life.
