Had a 223 for over ten yrsbravo 3 is overkill, The cracks on the deck are where the bulkheads are located mine had the same cracks but much less damage. As was said check transom en stringers, all en all very nice boat enjoyed mine. good luck in your hunt

Hey tanks I ended up getting a 87 242 LS that is mint.

Well done! The 242 has the better hull. 24 degrees vs. 22. Enjoy!

You'll enjoy a 242 over the 223. That thing is very nice! I am jealous.

I wanted a 242 all along just couldn't find one this one just happened to fall in my lap never thought I could buy this one. On a whim gave the seller a call and it all worked out still cant believe how nice this 30 year old boat is.

Nice looking boat! Someone cared a lot about it. Congrats. I remember the feeling you have right now. I stood in the driveway looking at mine and my wife thought I was loosing it. Keep the photos coming, she's a looker.

Agreed! In the cold of December I spent every day playing with mine in the driveway tinkering with little stuff. Now for the last week I've spent every day working on getting the new engine running. They can be a little fussy but sure are fun when you get them out. That one is a jewel! I hope you have a shop to store it out of the elements.
