Ive been working with a friend who purchased a new 29 with 6.2 motors. Its 2005 , new to him. What is the proper prop for it and what did it come with from formula. the ones on it looked like a labbed 28 and they are in need of repair. want to get a new set of props for it. I thiunk the drives are a 1.6 ratio if that is right. Looking to see what you 29 guys are doing in this area.

You can call formula with the hull number. They will tell you what it left them with. However I would just go off the facts. What does it run with the props on it now? What rpm does it max at? How does he care for the planing and turning characteristics? Adjust from there. Not saying formula didnt have it set up well from the get go. I'm just saying that there is always room for improvement.

Run box stock 26's. You will give up a 2 mph on the top end but getting out of the hole is a night a day difference.
Your drives should be 1.65's
They came stock with stock 28's. I think the scorpions came with labbed 28's.
