Thanks all. Really excited. I wanted to take it out this weekend, but my brother has his over there already, and there is only one buoy and no place to park a truck and trailer, haha!

Gonna have to drive his, I guess...

One thing the boat doesnt have is a cover. I would like the snap on cockpit cover, as well as a full cover. Do y'all recommend anyone?

Also, the vents over the air intakes are cracked a bit. is there someone that makes a replacement for parts like these on an older boat?

Covers are something more of a custom nature. You'll probably need to have someone make it for you. They are not too terribly expensive; I'd guess under a grand to make. The pole for the original may be somewhere in the boat. A generic full cover can be had for not much money depending on the material used. Custom will be a lot more. The covers on my 311 were custom made for the boat at some point (aqua colored... original was gray). Both have reinforcements around the cleats, lights, windshield frames, etc. I've been told that to reproduce the full cover would run me $1500-2000.

Bilge vents... the side vents can be had pretty easily. They may not be originals, but not hard to update them. The triangular forward vents are another story. I've seen where someone had some stainless vents to replace the plastic pieces. Anything like that is going to be custom. Finding them in good shape used is tough.

Gotcha. I guess Ill need to have someone make me something. I am really just looking for a Cockpit snap on cover for when it's sitting in the drive or being towed.

I was told it could be towed with a cockpit cover. I will never make that mistake again. It destroyed it within what I would guess to be 10 miles. It was dark aoni didnt notice until it was too late. I tow with my full cover on synched down nice and tight. Unless of course I'm only going a few miles.

I have another cover that is a full canvas made by Fisher Canvas Products in Burlington NJ. It is very heavy. Very well built. I use it over the winter.

Agreed on not having covers on the boat when towing. The covers themselves get pretty torn up easily, and the cover can damage the finish of the gel coat and paint.

Don't tow with the cockpit snap on cover, don't ask me why I say that bad day.
