So about 73 mph seeing as the River has about a 5 mph current correct? Is it all stock?

I live on Siebert Rd on that big pond...I'd like to float her in there one time...LOL!

Congrats on the new boat! I've been on it before as I know the previous owner. It was always well cared for and he had no problem paying for whatever it needed and more. Like it has been said before, leave it stock! Those are base 454's in it and will run forever. The previous owner was toying with repowering it to gain some speed, but myself and some others talked him out of it. I have a lot of friends and family at Collins so I'm sure I'll run into you at some point. Enjoy!

Thanks for the info Louie. I'm sure I will see you at Collins. I have dock D30. Just pre-paid for 250 gallons of gas and ordered up some long rectangular bumpers to be mounted to the dock.

I wish I could post PICS....eeeerrrrr!!!

So how does she sound, nice and loud? How does she cruise?

I did speak with Dave just before I bought it, nice guy. Told me all about it. I am very detailed, fussy and notice everything. When I saw this boat and got in it I was like OMG, its perfect, I need to do basically nothing to it. I had to hid my expressions from the sales guy...lol!

It sounds good, especially since he removed the silent thunder, which I think he still has lying around. I was on it once with 6 adults and pulled out my phone GPS to see 65 mph. Dave is still on F dock with a 310 Formula bowrider now. I have an old school 292 SR1 (black/red/gray) and I occasionally tie up at Collins to hang out, so I'll look for you. Congrats again!
