I hear Simrad is more open to option and do not require to buy their system like Garmin.
Hope others will shed some light on pros and cons
thanks for the reply

Ran Garmin in my Scarab for 12 years, two years ago I purchased an 04 330ss uninstalled a Simrad Go9 and broadband 4G radar. I have tried to get familiar with the Simrad functions and still don’t have a good handle on it. If your going fishing then this has a lot of great features. I regret buying the Simrad and to make it better the radar went out two weeks before the end of the warranty. Short answer, Stay With Garmin.

Garmin is the most user friendly and easy to use out of all of them.

Garmin hands down for ease of use. I install a lot of garmin units and have removed some so rad because people just couldn’t get used to their menus and functions
