Congrats on the boat, you will love the space the 242 SS has in the cockpit.
I can see the fuel/water separator in the front of your engine on the starboard front of the engine. Yours is white, it is the same diameter as a oil filter and resembles one.
It is down low below your dipstick.

So just picked up my first Formula. I have loved them for as long as I can remember. Is there abetter option for the cheap looking plastic gas fill. My other boat has a polished stainless fill much nicer. A few cosmetic issues as far as I can tell, then be ready for water.
I agree on the fuel fill. I just upgraded mine, see pic. Cpperformance item.

It has begun. Someone ran this dry looks a little melted. I checked it cause the exhaust felt really warm. I already back flushed the oil cool looking for chunks. The impeller was whole, but one small piece came out when I pulled the hoses for the raw water pump. BTW this boat is a pain to get the pump off. Wholly chit!!
