Do you think its a bad idea to take all the color off? I thought it would look good all white.

Agreed, rare paint and graphics combo (Newport #1 IMRON), rare model for the year (1988 292SR1), and it’s in showroom condition. I would be weary of changing much on that old bird. Especially since it’s the second one, other than mine, that I have seen in the USA. I have also seen only one 242, one 272, and one 311SR1 in Newport #1 IMRON over the years. Personally, I feel these old birds are worth more when they are outfitted in their original factory fashion with tasteful upgrades to the power package and controls/helm and stereo. Obviously, to each is their own but you have a timeless piece of Formula history that has stood the test of time.

I saw 2 last weekend on Lake Barkley/Kentucky Lake, one was, I believe, 382 and the other was a 357. I was looking closely as I was wanting your boat. Only seen a handfull of this scheme. I would leave the upholstery and exterior graphics stock. Just my .02
