That color combo was called Newport #1. I had an 89 272 in the same colors.

That is a beautiful classic boat. Repaint if needed but keep the colors and design

Don't sweat it about the HIN vs. the published model years . . . Formula probably introduced the boat after their 1988 models were all set/published, or something like that . . .
